In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of top navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in Guatemala showcased varying trends in downloads and active user engagement, according to Sensor Tower data.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting from 12.3K at the beginning of January and peaking at 16.1K by mid-March. Active users demonstrated a similar pattern, growing from 1M to a peak of 1.3M before settling at around 1.1M by the end of the quarter.

Camera Location: Geotag Photos experienced fluctuations in downloads, beginning at 11.1K and dropping to 1.5K by the end of March. Active users similarly decreased from 7.9K to 5.2K over the same period.

Google Earth maintained a stable download rate, averaging around 2K weekly downloads. Active users increased significantly, starting from 14.6K and reaching 21.3K in late March.
